My contribution to the project as a programmer
- UI/HUD Programmer
- Fix different bugs
- Porting to PS4 and Nintendo Switch
- Inputs with controller and keyboard
- Implement music and sounds
- Create the logic of some of the levels
- Implement one of the character's skills
The game
1971 Project Helios is a turn-based strategy game which combines modern warfare military tactics and close combat. Firearms and vehicles are scarce, conflicts and hostilities have no end, and the terrible freezing cold annihilates friends and foes in its path. Eight characters have to join forces for a common cause: find an important scientist kidnapped by a massive stratocracy. Along their way they will have to avoid raider attacks, investigate military headquarters, and infiltrate into the territory of a dangerous anti-technological religious sect.

Optativa de Diseño y Desarrollo de Videojuegos en la cual había que desarrollar un vidoejuego educativo para niños de primaria y/o secundaria. En nuestro equipo decidimos hacer un videojuego sobre el aprendizaje de escribir en un teclado de ordenador. Creimos importante esto pues la gran mayoría aprende a base de copiar textos y es una tarea aburrida. Lo dividimos en varias partes: Menú (interactivo) Minijuegos Cada uno de nosotros se encargó de una de las partes. El menú se trata de un teclado en el suelo y un personaje el cual controlas con todo el teclado. Depende de donde pulses el personaje irá a un sitio o a otro. Cada minijuego tenía un objetivo diferente. El primero se trataba de pulsar las teclas antes de que te atrapen, para aprender dónde está cada tecla. VR DEVELOPMENT Last Christmas (I gave you my heart) I decided to buy my first VR device and I bought the Oculus Quest because in November they launched the beta version of Oculus Link, which is the way to "convert" an Oculus Quest to an Oculus Rift (more or less that) And... Yes, I haven't had time to try how to implement something in Unity (aka Beat Saber, Superhot VR, Moss and Pistol Whip absorbed my free time...) So FINALLY I decided to do something and for now I'm following a series of tutorials I found on YouTube to learn about VR. I will update this post with screenshots, videos, and more things I'll learn along the way. Bowling Game Is this a Wii Sports reference? Maybe, but I started with this in order to create the first demo and see if it's working on my PC (it doesn't work on my laptop because a random bug with 10XX Nvidia cards)
