A.E. - Alternative Energy Changing the mindset about the use of renewable energy sources through a video game Download the game join to the early access: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.GasCan.AlternativeEnergy Gameplay: Evolution of the game: Download thesis Download presentation This is my bachelor's thesis for my degree and also it's a project that I made in Hanzegoeschool for the Game Lab. We are a group of 7 people and each one have different roles: Tatiana and Julio: Designers Trang and Sander: Artist Consta: Programmer Andrea (me): Leader programmer Summary of the game The game will put the player in the main role of the story: the player is a proud mayor of a new city. The mayor can unlock zones giving enough energy to the citizens and doing quests or task. This energy can be obtained with “good” energy or “bad” energy. The good energy is the renewable energy, in our game is represented with windmills and solar panels. The b...
1971: Project Helios I was working on the development of a video game as a programmer in an indie video game company: Reco Technology Here you can see a small demo of the game: APRIL 2020 My contribution to the project as a programmer - UI/HUD Programmer - Fix different bugs - Porting to PS4 and Nintendo Switch - Inputs with controller and keyboard - Implement music and sounds - Create the logic of some of the levels - Implement one of the character's skills The game 1971 Project Helios is a turn-based strategy game which combines modern warfare military tactics and close combat. Firearms and vehicles are scarce, conflicts and hostilities have no end, and the terrible freezing cold annihilates friends and foes in its path. Eight characters have to join forces for a common cause: find an important scientist kidnapped by a massive stratocracy. Along their way they will have to avoid raider attacks, investigate military headquarters, and infil...
I enjoy to learn about algorithms and programming stuff. So I decided to implement something in my free time. Furthermore, this that I'm creating now is for a programming test for a job vaccancy. It's call PERFECT MAZE. A perfect maze is defined as having no loops or closed circuits, and no innacessible areas. In a perfect maze, any two points are connected through a singular, unbroken path. There are a lot of algorithms, I decided to create all of them to see the differences between them. Week 1 (01-03-2019 and 03-03-2019) For now, I'm only have the basics: you can change the width and the height of the maze and regenerate it, all the cells have their neighbours and the walls (north, south, east and west wall) and I created a function to destroy the wall. Video: Week 2 (09-03-2019 and 10-03-2019) Yes! Finally I did it the first algorithm. I did the Hunt and Kill algorithm because it is the easiest to understand. I need to solve typo error...
